A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH,
FLORIDA~ ENDORSING THE FORMULA FOR DISTRI-
BUTION OF SALES TAX.
WHEREAS, the Florida Legislature has enacted House Bill
HD-54~ Ch. 82-154, Laws of F!orida~ creating an additional (fifth)
one-cent sales tax and providing for distribution of same to
mun~cipa!ities on a per capita basis~ and
WHEREAS~ the City of Boynton Beach supports House Bill
HD-54~ Ch. 82-!54~ Laws of Fiorida~
NOW~ THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, as follows:
Section !. The Florida Legislature is hereby requested to
leave unchanged the sales tax distribution formula as set forth
above in Ch. 82-154~ Laws of Florida.
Section 2. The City Clerk shall distribute this Resolution
to each member of the Palm Beach County Delegation, the Speaker of the
Florida House of Representatives~ the President of the Florida Senate
and all other interested parties.
