3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON
4 BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF FIVE NEW
5 BARONESS LM315 TRIPLEX MOWERS FOR THE LINKS AT BOYNTON
6 BEACH - GOLF COURSE FROM DAVCO TURF CORPORATION IN THE
7 AMOUNT OF $127,235, PLUS A TWENTY-TWO PERCENT
8 CONTINGENCY; AND FOR ALL OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS, the Fleet Management & Mobility Division is requesting the approval of the
11 purchase of five (5) new Baroness LM315 Triplex Mowers for The Links at Boynton Beach — Golf
12 Course, which are scheduled in the FY2024/2025 budget, from Davco Turf Corporation, as a sole
13 source vendor, in the amount of $127,235, plus a contingency of twenty-two percent (22%) for
14 equipment increases, should this equipment no longer be available and new models be delivered.
15 The City has the option to refuse the equipment when delivered, during inspection; and
16 WHEREAS, the City Commission, upon the recommendation of staff, has deemed it in the
17 best interests of the city's citizens and residents to approve the purchase of five new Baroness
18 LM315 Triplex Mowers for The Links at Boynton Beach —Golf Course from Davco Turf Corporation
19 in the amount of $127,235, plus a twenty-two percent contingency.

21 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON
22 BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
23 SECTION 1. The foregoing "Whereas" clauses are hereby ratified and confirmed as
24 being true and correct and are hereby made a specific part of this Resolution upon adoption.
25 SECTION 2. The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, does hereby
26 approve the purchase of five new Baroness LM315 Triplex Mowers for The Links at Boynton Beach
27 —Golf Course from Davco Turf Corporation in the amount of$127,235, plus a twenty-two percent
28 contingency, as further detailed in "Exhibit A," attached hereto.
29 SECTION 3. The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, hereby
30 authorizes the Mayor to execute any ancillary documents required or necessary to accomplish the
31 purposes of this Resolution.
32 SECTION 4. This Resolution shall take effect in accordance with law.
