3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON
4 BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE ADOPTED COMPREHENSIVE FEE
5 SCHEDULE FOR FISCAL YEAR 2024-2025, AS APPROVED BY
6 RESOLUTION NO. R24-191, BY AMENDING THE UTILITY DEPARTMENT
7 RATES;AND FOR ALL OTHER PURPOSES.

9 WHEREAS, On September 3, 2024, the City Commission approved Resolution No. R24-
10 191 adopting the annual Comprehensive Fee Schedule for Fiscal Year 2024-2025; and
11 WHEREAS, On September 23, 2024, Ordinance No. 24-019 tied to the Water, Sewer, and
12 City Utility rates was approved. The adopted Fiscal Year 2024-2025 Utility revenues were
13 also prepared based on the approved rates; and
14 WHEREAS, the City desires to amend the adopted Comprehensive Fee Schedule for Fiscal
15 Year 2024-2025,as approved by Resolution No. R24-191, by removing page 16 due to duplication;
16 updating page 27, which was missing current rates; updating page 29; updating the Construction
17 Meter Table, and updating page 31b, updating the Fiscal Year 2024 column with the prior year
18 data; and
19 WHEREAS, the City Commission, upon the recommendation of staff, has deemed it in the
20 best interests of the city's citizens and residents to amend the adopted Comprehensive Fee
21 Schedule for Fiscal Year 2024-2025, as approved by Resolution No. R24-191, by amending the
22 Utility Department rates.

24 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON
25 BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
26 SECTION 1. The foregoing "Whereas" clauses are hereby ratified and confirmed as
27 being true and correct and are hereby made a specific part of this Resolution upon adoption.
28 SECTION 2. The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, hereby amends
29 the adopted Comprehensive Fee Schedule for Fiscal Year 2024-2025, as approved by Resolution
30 No. R24-191, by amending the Utility Department rates, as further detailed in Exhibit A, attached
31 hereto.
32 SECTION 3. This Resolution shall take effect in accordance with law.
