A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON
BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE ADOPTED COMPREHENSIVE FEE
SCHEDULE FOR FISCAL YEAR 2024-2025, AS APPROVED BY
RESOLUTION NO. R24-191, BY AMENDING THE FEE SCHEDULE FOR
THE RECREATION & PARKS DIVISION; AND FOR ALL OTHER
PURPOSES.

WHEREAS, On September 3, 2024, the City Commission approved Resolution No. R24-
191 adopting the annual Comprehensive Fee Schedule for Fiscal Year 2024-2025; and
WHEREAS, Recreation and Parks is recommending the adjustment of some fees on the
fee schedule to help offset some of the increased equipment, supply, and staffing costs that have
taken place over recent years. These adjustments will generate increased revenue and provide
funds to offer additional and improved programming and services. These proposed fee
adjustments would go into effect on January 1, 2025, giving the department time to add these
new fees to upcoming program guide publication and inform the public of these changes through
various other channels; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission, upon the recommendation of staff, has deemed it in the
best interests of the city's citizens and residents to amend the adopted Comprehensive Fee
Schedule for Fiscal Year 2024-2025, as approved by Resolution No. R24-191, by amending the Fee
Schedule for the Recreation & Parks Division.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON
BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
SECTION 1. The foregoing "Whereas" clauses are hereby ratified and confirmed as
being true and correct and are hereby made a specific part of this Resolution upon adoption.
