I. CALL TO ORDER
Chair Watson called the meeting to order at 2:00 PM.
II. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
The members recited the Pledge of Allegiance.
III. ATTENDANCE
Roll was taken. A quorum was present.
IV. APPROVAL OF AGENDA
1. Additions, Deletions, Corrections
Ms. Farrell requested adding the availability of the two areas the Board is interested in, the
Boynton Beach Woman's Club and the Arts and Cultural Center.
2. Adoption
Motion
Ms. Cwynar moved to approve the agenda with the new addition. Ms. Farrell seconded the
motion. The motion passed unanimously.

VII. UNFINISHED BUSINESS
Chair Watson announced that the Recreation Department will provide an update as to
where they left off at the last meeting.
VIII. Budget Funding update for 2024 — 25 (Recreation Management)
Cody Bonanno, Recreation Manager, introduced himself to the Board.
Mr. Bonanno introduced Fabien Desrouleaux, Assistant Director of Recreation & Cultural
Services.
Mr. Desrouleaux announced that the City Commission and Management has approved the
transfer of the $10,000 issued to the Senior Advisory Board through the Recreation
Department and that the Board will have to work hand in hand with Mr. Rolle on what they
are looking to do with those funds. He explained the funding and deadlines they must meet.
Chair Watson requested if it was possible to obtain dates that might be open for the
Woman's Club or/and Arts and Cultural Center for March, April and May.
Mr. Desrouleaux confirmed that staff will send the dates of availability to the Board. He
recommended that the Board select a date as soon as possible, as dates fill up quickly.
The members request for Friday or Saturday evening dates, preferably Friday evening, and
the time would be from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M.
Chair Watson advised that as the Woman's Club causes a little issue due to parking, their
preference would be the Arts and Cultural Center.
It was discussed that the Board receives dates of availability, the Board can discuss
themes and color schemes.
IX. NEW BUSINESS
1 . SAB Budget/Funding discussion 2025-2026 (New fiscal year)
Chair Watson received confirmation this budget is for the 2026 new budget.
2. Possible Survey Questions for Seniors re: Social Club
3. Establish action items for next meeting (February 3, 2025)

X. NEXT MEETING February 3, 2025, Agenda items are due by
Thursday January 23, 2025.
Chair Watson announced the next meeting. She inquired if the members wanted to keep
meeting at 2:00 P.M.
There was consensus to leave the meeting time at 2:00 P.M.
Chair Watson confirmed that the next meeting is February 3, 2025 with agenda items due
January 23, 2025.
Chair Watson also mentioned that January 20, 2025 is the MLK Celebration, and they will
have a day of service. She invited anyone who wanted to attend, to participate.
Mary DeGraffenreidt added that day of service starts at 8:00 A.M. at the Carolyn Sims
Center with continental breakfast for all volunteers. She explained the route and activities in
the park after the march.
Chair Watson inquired if anyone had anything to address before adjourning.
Mr. Rolle announced that AARP is providing free tax services, not limited to just Seniors, on
Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday's beginning in February from 8:30 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. at
the Senior Center. He said that in order to be seen you must arrive by 10:00 A.M. to make
sure your name is on the list, and there are no appointments, it is a first come first serve
basis. He mentioned that they usually end up serving around 800 people, and it will go on
from the first Monday in February, until the last day before taxes go in, and there are no
income restrictions.
XI. ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business before the Board, Chair Watson requested a motion to
adjourn.
MOTION
Ms. Cwynar moved to adjourn. Ms. Farrell seconded the motion. The motion passed
unanimously.
