Ms. Washington commented that Ms. Claude has received a complaint about it and there is a meeting scheduled next month with Ocean Ridge, as it is their beach that is affected. Discussion followed that Boca Raton cleans it up quickly, and Delray Beach is slow to react. Ms. Washington stated that it is also a County issue. Chair Mondello asked about after school programming for when school starts. Ms. Washington responded that they have a program at the Sims Center for elementary school students and they are developing a teen program at the Hester Center, which is a more organized program, rather than it being a drop in program.
