I. CALL TO ORDER
Chair Wilkinson called the meeting to order 6:22 P.M.
II. Pledge and roll call
The members recited the pledge of allegiance to the Flag.
III. Agenda Approval

Vice Chair Watson moved to approve the agenda. Mr. Kenny seconded the motion. The
motion passed unanimously.
IV. Approval of Minutes October 28, 2025
Motion
Vice Chair Watson moved to approve the minutes. Mr. Kenny seconded the motion. The
motion passed unanimously.
V. Announcements
Vice Chair Watson said that the City's Tree Lighting Event was nice and the parade was
short. Chair Wilkinson stated that she was able to see the drone show which was polar
express theme.

Boynton Beach, Florida December 8, 2025
Chair Wilkinson stated that the Greater Boynton Beach Foundation is having their annual
5K Run Walk and Roll event in February. It is a mile run at the City's Congress Ave Barrier
Free Park. The concept is to allow children and adults of all abilities to participate and use
the playground. She stated that the race will be held early on Saturday, February 71n
She said they could put a team together and get their name out there. Mr. Kenny
volunteered to participate.
Ms. Claude agreed to send information about the race to the Board Members.
Chair Wilkinson stated they will receive tee shirts when they sign up and they can sign up
as a team.

VIII. Old Business — Youth Symposium
Chair Wilkinson stated that that event is coming up in April. It was previously a lecture
type event where different people were coming to speak to the students. She said that
now they are taking the youth to different departments and events in the City to be
exposed to the various departments and what they do. She said that a suggestion was
made to put together a presentation or donate something to help.
Ms. Sagrans stated that if there is no school, she would attend.
Chair Wilkinson said that the Board has not yet committed to doing anything and they can
decide in January what they will do.
Fundraising Outreach
Chair Wilkinson said that Ms. Carter had to postpone her fashion show to the spring and
that is something to think about.
Vice Chair Watson gave an update on the Fall Festival. She said that they rented a robot
that lit up on stilts, which was a person dressed up as a robot. She said they had about
375 people attend.
Chair Wilkinson stated the Board had discussed at the last meeting outreach for food
baskets, and Board Member Ricardo Comacho and she are in the Greater Boynton Beach
Foundation. She said the Foundation put together a few baskets and she signed that it
was from the Foundation and the Board.
Vice Chair Watson said the Community Foundation put together about 137 gift baskets,
half with turkey and half with gift cards. For Christmas, they will hold the event on Monday
and give out baskets and toys.
