77-CC RESOLUTION NO. 77-CC
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Boynton Beach,
Florida has elected to create a Community Promotion Board and has
appointed members to said Board; and
WHEREAS, it is deemed essential that guidelines be estab~'~
lished for the purpose and function of said Board;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TEE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1: That the City of Boynton Beach, Florida Com-
munity Promotion Board is hereby created and established, which
Committee shall consist of as ~many members as the City Council may
from time to time, in its discretion, appoint with said appointed
committee members to serve at the pleasure of the City Council.
The City Manager shall be appointed chairman of said committee.
Section 2: The purpose of said committee shall be to con-
duct a continuing investigation into methods of promoting the
orderly social and cultural image of the City of Boynton Beach,
Florida, and in general to provide citizen input to the City
Council, through the City Manager, to accomplish such purposes.
Section 3: Said Community Promotion Board shall meet at
the call of the Chairman, or any three (3) members thereof to
undertake any matters deemed essential for consideration by the
Board, and the committee may make formal recommendations to the
City Council after thorough investigation and consideration of
any such matters°
