71-DRESOLUTION NO. 71 - ~ ....
WHEREAS, the Board of Public Instruction of Palm Beach County,
Florida, has heretofore indicated its intention to construct an additional
County Vocational School facility in the South Palm Beach County area, and
WHEREAS, adequate physical facilities for the construction of said
facility are located in the Boynton Beach, Florida, area, in immediate
proximity to the existing I. T.V. Center facility, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida,
deems it in the best interst of all citizens of the South Palm Beach County
area that subject facility be erected on the above-described site;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF ]3OYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA:
That the Board of Public Instruction of Palm Beach County, Florida.
is urged and requested to proceed with final planning, construction and
operation of the proposed County Vocational School facility on the site hereiri-
above described, and said City Council expresses its willingness to cooperate
with the Board of Public Instruction of Palm Beach County in any way possible
in connection with the accomplishment of this project, at the earliest
