A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH,
FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING STAFF TO
PREPARE FOR THE REFINANCING OF THE CITY'S
PUBLIC SERVICE TAX REFUNDING REVENUE BONDS,
SERIES 1993 AND THE FINANCING OF VARIOUS
CAPITAL PROJECTS OF THE CITY; AND PROVIDING
FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
~ection 1. The City Manager, Finance Director, City Attorney and Bond
Counsel are authorized and directed to take all necessary and desirable steps to prepare
for issuance by the City of revenue bonds to refinance the City's Public Service Tax
Refunding Revenue Bonds, Series 1993 and to finance various capital projects of the
City. The City shall not issue any such bonds until so authorized by the City
Commission, and at the appropriate time, staff shall present this matter to the City
Commission for further consideration. In addition to the general authorization herein
~rovided, staff is directed to solicit proposals from investment banking firms to serve as
tnderwriter for such bonds and to recommend to fhe City Commission the qualified firm
offering the lowest cost to the City for the required services.
~ This Resolution shall become effective upon adoption.
