A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A LETTER
OF INTENT TO THE TOWN OF HYPOLUXO,
REGARDING PROVIDING FOR FIRE-RESCUE
SERVICES TO THE TOWN OF HYPOLUXO; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission, upon recommendation of staff,
deems it to be in the best interests of the citizens and
residents of the City to permit staff to enter into Contract
negotiations with the Town of Hypoluxo, regarding providing fire-
rescue services to the Town of Hypoluxo by the City of Boynton
Beach;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
Section 1. The City Commission of the City of Boynton
Beach, Florida does hereby authorize and direct the Mayor to
execute a Letter of Intent to provide Fire-Rescue Services to the
Town of Hypoluxo, and authorizes staff to enter into contract
negotiations with the Town of Hypoluxo.
Section 2. That this Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon passage.
