A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, RATIFYING THE ACTION TAKEN
BY THE SOUTH CENTRAL REGIONAL WASTEWATER
TREATMENT AND DISPOSAL BOARD ON JULY 17, 1997, AS
SET FORTH IN EXHIBIT "A" ATTACHED HERETO; AUTHORIZING
AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE
SAID RATIFICATION; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, The South Central Regional Wastewater Treatment & Disposal
Board (SCRWTDB) requests ratification of the action taken by the Board on July 1 7,
1997, as set forth in the attached Exhibit .....A,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY O'F
BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA THAT:
Section 1. The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, does
hereby ratify the action taken by the South Central Regional Wastewater Treatment
& Disposa Board on July 17, 1997, as set forth in the attached Exhibit "A".
Section 2. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon passage.

EXHIBIT "A"
1. Authorization for Modification of Quail Ridge Reuse Agreement to
Include HOA;
2. Authorization to enter into a three year lease Agreement with Dan
Burns Oldsmobile, Inc., at a rate of $297.85 per month for the
Executive Director's Vehicle;
3. Authorization to increase J.J. Kirlan's Contract for the Northwest
Reuse Project from $4,440,000 to $4,469,795 to cover $29,795 of
change orders;
4. Authorization to increase Ric-Man's Contract for the Northwest
Reuse Project from $2,418,310 to $2,477,738.09 to cover $59,428.09
of change orders;
5. Authorization for Acceptance of 1997/98 O & M Budget, Capital
Projects, and Repair and Replacement Expenditures;
6. Authorization to establish User Rate to Cities for Fiscal Year 1997/98
as follows: Operations & Maintenance - $0.5805/1,000 Gal; Ocean
Outfall - $0.0030/],000 Gal; Sinking Fund $0.1120/1,000 Gal - Total:
$0.6955/1,000 Gal
7. Authorization to enter into a License Agreement with Florida East
Coast Railway for Utility Crossing of Railroad Right-of-Way;
8. Authorization to enter into an-Agreement with South Florida Water
Management District to Pay South Central Regional Wastewater
$300,000 for Reuse Water Project.
