FLORIDA RELATIVE TO BUILDING O0NSTRUCTION
FR~S; PROVIDING FOR A SAVINGS CLAUSE;
REPEAT.¥NG PROVISIONS; PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE AND FOR OTKER PURPOSES.
BE IT C~DAINED BY THE CITY ODUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. Section 5.2 Subsection 107.4 Schedule of
Permit Fees, Section 5.2 Subsection 825.3 Schedule of Permit
Fees, Section 22-2 Subsection 106.3, and Section 9-36 of the
Codified Ordinances of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida be
amended to read as follows:
I. Permits for new buildings and additions.
A. Permit fees include:
1. Building
2. Electric
3. Plumbing
4. Mechanical
B. Single permit fee for the above will be:
1. Minimum Fee Total Valuation
$30.00 $3,000 or less
2. Construction over $3,000 of value equals
$30.00 plus $10.00 for each additional
$1,000 of value over $3,000 or portion
thereof.
II. Other Permits
A. Single miscellaneous building permit fee
will be
1. Minimum Fee Total Valuation
$21.00 $3,000 or less
0
Construction over $3,000 of value equals
$21.00 plus $7.00 for each additional
$1,000 of value over $3,000 or portion
thereof. (Permit value to be based on
th~ value of the signed contract fur-
nished to the Building Department. )

Section 2. Specific authority is hereby granted to
codify this Ordinance.
Section 3. Ail ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
section 4. Should any section or provision of this
Ordinance or a portion thereof be declared by a court of com-
petent jurisdiction to be invalid, such decision shall not affect
the remainder of this Ordinance.
Section 5. This Ordinance shall become effective on
October 1, 1984.
