On Wednesday, December 30, 2009, I received notification from the Supervisor of Ejections
that candidate workshops for the 2010 election cycle are being offered. The presentation
would be beneficial to all candidates, political consultants and/or campaign managers.
The workshops will be held on the following dates and times at the main office of the
Supervisor of Elections, 240 S. Military Trail, West Palm Beach:

either the January 12th or February 3rd workshop. To register for one of the scheduled

Dear Mr. Karageorge:
At 12:00 Noon on Tuesday, January 26, 2010, the Qualifying (Filing) period opens for the General
Election on Tuesday, March 9, 2010. The Qualifying period will remain open until 12:00 noon on
Tuesday, February 9, 2010. I will be available in my office each of those days to qualify you for the
election; however, there could be times when I am attending meetings. Although it is not required, it
would be a good idea to call me for an appointment to eliminate numerous trips or long waiting times.
I have enclosed the following documents that you MUST complete and bring with you when you come in
to Qualify:
. Form 1 - Statement of Financial Interests with instructions;
. Public Notice regarding the L&A Testing on February 19, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. at the Supervisor of
Elections Office. You must return this form signed whether or not you are planning to attend the
testing;
. Loyalty Oath - Please fill out the form filling in exactly how you want your name to appear on the
ballot. DO NOT SIGN THE FORM. You will do that in my office.
Please remember that when you arrive at my office to Qualify, you must also bring with you:
. Your Petition that has been certified by the Supervisor of Elections;
. Your Campaign Account check to cover the 1% State Assessment Fee in the amount of $236.78
made payable to the City of Boynton Beach;
. Your Campaign Account check in the amount of $25 made payable to the City of Boynton Beach
which covers the City filing fee.
