R93-/~ A RESOLUTION OF THE CiTY COmmISSION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH AND CHILDREN'S SERVICES COUNCIL OF PALM BEACH COUNTY, FOR THE LATCHKEY AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAM FOR THE 1993-94 FISCAL YEAR; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the Latchkey Afterschool Recreation Programs at Rolling Green School and Poinciana School have been 100% funded by Children's Services Council for the past four years; and WHEREAS, the Latchkey Programs are needed and well received by the co.~munity; and WHER~AS, the City does not have a funding source for this program and is relying on 100% grant funding from Children's Services Council for continuation of this needed childrens' service; and WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, upon recommendation of staff, deems it to be in the best interests of the residents and citizens of the City of Boynton Beach to execute an Agreement between the City of Boynton Beach and Children's Services Council of Palm Beach County for the Latchkey Afterschool Program for the 1993-94 fiscal year. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA THAT: Section 1. The City Commission hereby authorizes and directs the Mayor and City Clerk to execute an Agreement between the City of Boynton Beach and Children's Services Council of Palm Beach County for the Latchkey Afterschool Program for the 1993-94 fiscal year.
