A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF TI-IE
CiTY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE CHANGE ORDERS NO. 1 AND NO. 2
BETWEEN THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH AND
WIDELL, INC., TOTALING $16,136 FOR EMERGENCY
REPLACEMENT FOR EXISTING PI;PES FOR MASTER
LIFT STATION NO. 317 AND 319; AND ~PROVIDING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the work performed by Widell, Inc., is in addition to current Bid
~ro. 094-2821-00. CJI), 315, 317, 319 and 356, Master Lift Station Rehabihtation; and
WHEREAS, Lift Station 317 experienced a pump failure and the Utilities
Department purchased a new 75 hp Flygt pump ro be installed by the C~ntracror; and

WHEREAS, During the design stage of Lift Station 319, mbdifications to the
clischarge header pipe were not anticipated, but will be required;
NOW, TI-W, REFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TWE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
Section 1. The City Commission of the City of Boynton ]~each, Florida does

aereby authorize and direct the Mayor and City Clerk to approve aad execute Change
Drders No. 1 and 2 with Widell, Inc., totaling $16,136 for emergency services related to
Master Lift Station 317 and 319, which Change Orders are attached hereto and made a
~art hereof.
Section 2. This Resolution shall become effective in,mediately upon
~assage.

valves. We have not included any by-pass pumping.
