A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,
AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND
CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AN AMENDMENT TO
THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF
BOYNTON BEACH AND GEE AND JENSON ON THE
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT
PROJECT, SUB-AREA 1, PROVIDING FOR
ADDITIONAL SERVICES RELATED TO THE
GRAVITY SEWEREYSTEM RECONSTRUCTION TO
BE INCLUDED IN THE PROJECT; SAID
AMENDM-ENT BEING ATTACHED HERETO AS
EXHIBIT "A"; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach,
Florida, ~Poh recommendation ~f Staff, deems ~t to be in the best
interests ~f ~he citizens and residents of the City of Boynton
Beach to e~ecute an amendment to the agreement with Gee and
Jenson, with regard to the Community Development Block Grant,
providing for additional services related to the gravity sewer
system reconstruction to be included in the project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED.BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF BO~NToN BEACH, FLORIDA THAT.
Section I. The City Commission of the City of Boynton
Beach, Flor&da, does hereby authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to
execute a certain amendment to the agreement between the City of
Boynton Beach and Gee and Jet, on, a copy of said amendment being
attached hereto as Exhibit "~'~.
Section 2. This Resolution shall

Modify plans and bid documents to reflect additional bid quamities and locations
for repairs to sanitary sewer sysmm within Comm~.mity D~velopment Block Grant
Sub Ama No. 1. City Utility Deparm~nt to provide Gee & Jenson with locations
of sewer to be re-constructed.
As an additional service, this effort is to be invoiced to the City on an hourly basis, not-
to-exceed $3,000.00 without written additional authorization. Hourly rates are to be in
accordance with the basic Agreement.
