A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,
AUTHOP, JZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE TASK ORDER NO, 11, BETWEEN ~
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH AND CH2M HILL IN THE
AMOUNT OF $40,234.00 FOR PROFESSIONAL
DESIGN AND ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR
REPLACEMENT OF SANITARY SEWER LINES AND
SWALE IMPROVEMENTS ON NE 19TM AVENUE;;
AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the sanitary sewer adjacent to the easement north of NE 10th Ave.,
>etween NE 1s~ Street and NE ts' Way, has on numerous occasions backed up and
frequently requires cleaning and maintenance to maintain flows; and
WltEREAS staff has recommended relocating the sanitary sewer system to the
front of the properties to replace the existing failed sanitary sewer system, which will
eliminate a recurrent maintenance problem for the City; and
WItEREAS, the City Commission upon recommendation from staff, deems it
appropriate and in the best interest of the residents and citizens of the City to approve
Task Order No. 11 ~vith CH2M Hill in the mount of $40,234.00, as the consultant to
3rovide the required professional engineering services including survey, permitting,
onstruction documents as well as bid phase advisory assistance and services durhag
onstruction.
NOW, THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
)F THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
Section 1. The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida does
tereby authorize and direct the Mayor and City Clerk to approve and execute Task Order
No. 11, with CH2M Hill for professional design and engineering services for replacement
of sanitary sewer lines, and swale ~mprovemems son NE 19th Avenue, in the amount of
$40,234.00.
Section 2.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this
