R91-/~ A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, URGING OUR STATE ELECTED OFFICIALS TO SPONSOR OR AMEND LEGISLATION TO ENFORCE MORE STRINGENT SENTENCING GUIDELINES; AND TO INCREASE THE ~UJMBER OF PRISON BEDS FOR THE PURPOSE OF MANDATORY DRUG REHABILITATION FOR DRUG RELATED CONVICTIONS; DIRECTING THE CITY CLEITK TO FORWARD A COPY OF THIS RESOLUTION TO THE STATE LEGISLATURE VIA THE COUNTY LEGISLATIVE DELEGATION. WHEREAS, many of our citizens are becoming innocent victims of the violence associated with the drug trade; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION DF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT: Section 1.
