A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,
ASSESSING THE COSTS OF ABATEMENT OF
CERTAIN NUISANCES AGAINST THE OWNERS OF
THE PROPERTY INVOLVED, AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City
cepresentative of the City
Manager or his designated
of Boynton Beach, Florida, acting
)n and in behalf of the City, has pursuant to Section 10-5
)f the Code of the City of Boynton Beach, found and
letermined that the condition of certain property or parcels
)f land as hereinafter described violates Section 10-2 and
~0-3 of the said Code by reason of the existence of
~xcessive growth of weeds, grass, vegetation or other
~oxious plants or other offensive substance detrimental to
~he health and welfare of the residents of the City, thereby
Donstituting a nuisance; and
WHEREAS, the owners of the parcel of property
~ereinafter described were duly notified in accordance with
~ection 10-5 of the City Code and were required to abate the
Nuisance, as described in the notice to the owners within
the prescribed period of time; and
WHEREAS, said nuisance was not abated as required; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to and in accordance with the
~rocedure set forth in Chapter 10 of the Code of the City of
~oynton Beach, the City abated said nuisances; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has made a report of costs
actually incurred by the City and abatement of said nuisance
as to the property involved, which is hereinafter described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT Rg$OLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
DF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
Section 1. The amount of costs incurred by the City
and the abatement of the above described nuisance as to the
)arcels of land, owned and indicated to wit:

~ubject amount is hereby assessed as liens against said
)arcels of land as indicated, said liens as to said parcels
of land shall be of equal dignity with the taxes therefrom
~or the year 1991, and shall be enforced and collected in
~ike manner pursuant to applicable provisions of the law.
In the event collection proceedings are necessary, the
~roperty owner shall pay all costs of the proceedings,
including reasonable attorneys fees.
Section 2. The City Clerk be and she is hereby
directed to record a certified copy of this Resolution in
~he Office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court in and for Palm
~each County, Florida.
Section 3. That such liens shall bear interest at
~he rate of eight (8%) percent per annum until fully paid.
Section 4. That the City Clerk be and she is
further directed to notify, by certified maill, the
~egistered owners of the parcels of land named herein, of
~he assessments of the liens on their property.
Section 5. This Resolution shall take
days from the date of adoption.
