A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA
CHANGING THE NAME OF THE BOYNTON BEACH
CIVIC CENTER TO BOYNTON BEACH FREEDOM
HALL AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission originally named the
~ity's Civic Center the Boynton Beach Civic Center; and
WHEREAS, in honor of all members of the United States
~rmed Forces now serving or having previously served their
:ountry in time of armed conflict, the City Commission of
~he City of Boynton Beach desires to change the name of the
~ity's Civic Center to Boynton Beach Freedom Hall;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE iT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
Section I. That the existing Boynton Beach Civic
2enter be renamed Boynton Beach Freedom Hall in honor of all
~embers of the United States Armed Forces now serving or
laving previously served their country in time of armed
~onflict.
Section 2.
